About me
I was born and grew up in the busy city of New York. I was raised by creative and successful parents who work as an architect and interior designer, respectively. Growing up with creative parents allowed me to openly express myself. I enjoy traveling, dancing, acting, sports, and creating art. When my mother had my two younger siblings I always did my best to help her care for them and learned at an early age how to hold a baby, change diapers, and care for my sisters. After working as a counselor at a summer youth program, I decided I wanted to continue working with children. In my junior year of high school, I took an internship at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Florida where I took my first CPR and First Aid Class and became certified. I continued to keep my certifications up to date for the well being of others and for my career as a nanny. I also have a side cake baking business.
I am an educated, nurturing, and compassionate nanny with nine years of experience caring for children from newborns to adolescents. I have taken care of both single and multiples at a time. Being a nanny is the perfect fit for me because I have the energy and positive qualities that children and babies need as they grow. I am very patient, attentive, extroverted, punctual, caring, trustworthy, adventurous, polite, organized, and I take the initiative. I am able to prepare meals, help with light housework, grocery shopping, and laundry. Before leaving for the day, I tidy up to set the parents mind at ease when they arrive home.
The thing I love most about this job is that it is spontaneous. Everyday is something different and new for them to learn and experience. I have had the pleasure of working with several New York City families and have attained new skills that I still use everyday. It is important to me that children grow up in a fun, healthy, educational, and positive environment.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
Enjoying life with my family, friends, and partner. I would like to continue working with families and growing my baking business.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I enjoy taking the children to museums, the zoo, the aquarium, and fun galleries. Wherever we can learn together are my favorite places to go. Making crafts and engaging with others can boost their self confidence and motivate them to think outside the box. When working with babies, I enjoy playing interactive games or use sensory items that stimulate their minds, like play with instruments to help with motor skills and sensory development.
