About me

I grew up in Rockland County, just outside of New York City with one older brother. As a child, I was always dancing, singing, acting, and playing tennis. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rider University in 2018 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Arts Administration. Since graduation, I have been working multiple theatre jobs and nannying. The most fulfilling job I have had since graduation would be working for Disney Cruise Line as a performer where my job for two years was interacting with children of all ages. Being able to travel the world while meeting thousands of children taught me so much about the importance of communication and learning to embrace the dreams, desires and aspirations within the kid in all of us.

While in college, I helped run a summer theatre camp, taught dance classes to children and stage managed children's shows where I was solely in charge of around thirty five 7-14 year-olds. I also spent a summer teaching gymnastics to children at a day camp. I have looked after one family of two girls and another of two boys. Responsibilities with these families included feeding, bathing, taking the kids to activities, homework help, meal prep and bedtime routines. I also have experience working with infants 10 months to 2 years-old. During my last two years in school, I cared for a family of four children, one of which had special needs where I would take him to therapy, do exercises with him, feed, dress and bathe him.

Growing up in the performing arts and constantly having the opportunity to be surrounded by the wide eyed amazement children carry with them is so inspiring to me. I believe the best relationships form when each person has something to share, and this sentiment translates to the sitter/child relationship. Children are our future and they lead their lives unafraid, something that inspires me regularly. If I can be a small part of their childhood and a part of helping them to grow, that would be the most fulfilling gift.
