About me

I grew up in San Francisco, California, and I have four sisters. As a child, I loved singing, writing, and going on adventures outside. I graduated from Boston University and received a B.S. in Communication and I currently work part-time at Shiseido and am eager to work in childcare on the side. I'm very animated, outgoing, and bubbly and I love kids!
   
I have worked with children ranging from ages 8 months to 12 years old. For twin 2-year-old boys I babysat, I would change their diapers, read to them, and play learning games with them. With kids aged 3-6 that I babysat, we would play with stuffed animals, do arts and crafts, and write stories together. During high school, I worked as a regular date-night sitter for a number of families and on my summers home from college, I worked as a regular part-time sitter for two or three families per summer.
   
In my junior year of high school, I tutored 5th and 6th graders in different communities for two days a week. I assisted them with Math, Science and English homework help. It was a rewarding experience to help the students improve their grades and develop their focus and patience.
   
I'm very talkative, warm, and friendly. I have a passion for beauty, music, creative writing, healthy eating, and fitness. I love watching the children I babysit grow and learn - it's incredibly important for me to be someone they respect and look up to. I look forward to working with families who are looking for a responsible and creative sitter!
