About me

I grew up in Northern India and moved to New York six years ago. I took my GED test and started college at Laguardia Community College. I was able to work during the day and attend school at night. I graduated with an Accounting degree in August 2019. Right now I am studying for my Master's degree.

My mother is a Montessori teacher of 38 years. I have always been part of the Montessori model, and around kids, and kids love me! I started my first babysitting job here with a 2.5 year old son with a sister on the way. I took their son to the hospital to meet his younger sister for the first time. As I began taking more care of the newborn, I tracked everything we did in a notebook. It was all about math; I kept track of her sleep, naps, bottles, diapers, foods, and her shots. I did that for about a year and can tell you everything about her first year from that book. And with her brother, I would walk with him to school, set up playdates and appointments. I took them to dance, gym, art classes. Taking him to the movie theater for the first time is still so memorable!

After this first family moved to Long Island, I was with two girls for roughly 4 years. I have been with them since 2015.
