About me

Amber Patton is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She comes from a strong Caribbean background with a mixture of culture from Jamaica and Barbados! She has resided in many other states such as Alabama, Southern Florida,
Pennsylvania, New York and even the beautiful country of Jamaica! Amber has been working with the company since summer of 2019 in NYC. Amber is a very passionate and active individual! In her spare time she enjoys her training for figure skating and dance, studying, reading, volunteering, creating new experiences and spending quality time with family and friends. Amber also serves as a board member for a non-profit education organization called KWLA (Knowledge Works Learning Academy) Kids. A big enjoyment for her is working with children. She has been working with children for 10 years, ages ranging from newborn up to 17 years old. Amber loves to teach her the children that are in her care and watch them grow and excel. She has her BS in General Studies with a lot of courses in the sciences and childhood development and psychology. She enjoys taking them outside in nature, going to kid friendly jungle gyms, museum, the library and swimming. She has worked as a summer camp counselor for a sleep away camp for 4 years with a total exceeding 200 children! Amber has worked with many families providing private childcare services in Alabama, and Florida working with ages 5 months, 2-9 years old. She has also worked in a church nursery as the leading staff in the infant and crawler room. Amber has worked with another nanny agency in Miami, Florida, NYC and New Jersey working with over 50 families as a temp nanny. She is BLS certified and was a certified teacher for infants and crawlers at Columbia Academy is Colombia, Maryland. She believes that children are the future and that they need to be invested in with time, compassion and love. Until it’s time to have her own she continued to pour into others’ and is an asset to families that she has worked with.
