About me

I was raised in East Orange, NJ with an older and younger brother. My grandmother who lived downstairs cared for neighborhood children and gave me my first job. I attended Centenary University and received my BFA in Fashion Design. After graduation, I started a custom clothing business and worked privately as a babysitter.

I’ve worked with children for the past 14 years. I was the “family babysitter” growing up and watched my 2-year-old cousin after school in high school. This was my first experience taking care of kids on my own. In college, I had a work-study position as a teacher’s assistant. During my last year and a half of college, I was a date night sitter for a 2-year-old girl. Most recently, I was a full-time traveling nanny for a 7-year-old girl. This position involved frequent travel between NY, NJ, and California. I am also CPR certified and a certified substitute teacher with in-home tutoring experience.

I deeply believe in the idea that a child’s mind is like a sponge and what they absorb is important. This belief pushes me to be the best version of myself and to be yet another positive influence for the children. My goal is to understand the family and how I can be helpful, truly get to know the kids, be flexible as family dynamics and situations change, and always to ensure the safety and happiness of the children.
