About me
I grew up in the suburban valley of Los Angeles with my twin sister and awesome parents. When I was a kid I loved singing and theatre and playing a variety of sports (gymnastics, ice skating, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball). I went to UC Berkeley where I received my Bachelors in Psychology. I am now living in Los Angeles again.
My mother was the head of my elementary school, so since I was young I was babysitting and was a mother's helper for many families in the school. Additionally, I tutored 12- and 13-year-olds to help them prepare for their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. I went on to work on staff for 5 years as a counselor, music teacher, and special needs educator working with kids with autism, down syndrome and physical disabilities. During my time in college, I spent afternoons teaching after school Jewish education. I've worked with a variety of ages from a few months to 18 years old. I am CPR certified for infants, children and adults.
I love working with children. With two parents in education it feels like it's in my blood. I love seeing things through children's eyes, watching their imagination come to life, and providing a safe space for them to grow and discover. I look forward to working with you and your family soon.
