About me

I grew up in New Jersey for most of my childhood and adolescence. I spent the most recent six years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now enjoy living in Brooklyn, NY. I have one younger brother who I would spend days with playing games outside and have been watching the other neighborhood kids since I was a pre-teen. I graduated with a degree in studio art and history from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since graduation, I have been providing childcare, working as an Emergency Medical Technician, and pursuing my photography as an art career. I love using creativity to connect with kids and help them create their own masterpieces, as well as return to childhood interests of exploring the outdoors.

My approach to childcare includes meeting kids where they're at; I want to help them connect with me and feel comfortable not only to have a ton of fun, but also as someone to talk with when they want. I want to help kids feel confident with their schoolwork when it's time for education as well as come up with creative and unique games when it's time for play. I have always loved school, art, and playing outside, and hope to share those interests and passions with the kids I get to spend time with!
