About me
I am an outgoing, hard-working performer and young professional with a passion for people, travel, and adventure! I am incredibly fortunate to have grown up with my younger sister and now-best-friend, in both the mountains of Colorado as well as the beaches of South Florida with a year-long home-schooling RV road trip across the USA in between! I earned my dual degree in Vocal Performance and Music Therapy with a Certification in Developmental Disabilities from the Florida State University (Go Noles!) It was there that I truly honed my passion for serving as a helper to others in everything I do.
As a part of my program I interned for 6 months at the Salah Foundation Children's Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where I daily collaborated with Nurses, Doctors, PT, OT, and Child Life Specialist as a part of a medical therapeutic team for children and their families in the NICU, Pediatric ICU, and Oncology units. This was an incredibly rewarding experience working with pediatric patients, especially those who visited us often for days-weeks at a time, providing both research-based Music Therapy as well as distraction and entertainment activities during their hospital stay. I also gained valuable certifications in BLS, CPR, Self-Defense, and extensive Safety, Security, ethics, and confidentiality protocols.
Looking to continue to bring joy to children and families, I headed up to Orlando, FL where I spent a little over two magical years at Walt Disney World working as a VIP Tour Guide and an Opening Team Member of a Private Family-focused Club- Club 33. In both roles, I spent every day with visiting families and kids from around the world making sure that their trip to the happiest place on earth was full of memories to last them a lifetime!
In a few of my most recent jobs, I have been responsible for two young toddlers under the age of 3, as well as a 7- and 9-year-old with responsibilities such as preparing meals and snacks, changing diapers, going on walks in the park, facilitating bath and bedtime routines, assisting with homework and school projects, various household chores, and engaging in age appropriate play activities to help the younger children reach their developmental milestones.
Outside of nannying, you can find me at an audition or voice and dance classes! My love for the arts extends beyond just my own career and I try to take advantage of all the different Broadway shows, performances, venues, and museums NYC has to offer. Growing up in Colorado camping, hiking, and skiing greatly shaped my love for doing anything outdoors! One of my favorite pastimes now in the city is running or biking in Central Park. I integrate both these passions in nannying as I feel both playing outdoors enjoying nature or playing sports and participating in the fine arts in any capacity are extremely important and beneficial for young creative minds! I love to help kids cultivate their passions and dreams from a young age and feel it is my role as a nanny to be an extension of parents to their children while they are working to help maintain a sense of consistency for their family. “It takes a village” as the saying goes and I believe that a great nanny acts as a helper and teammate to raise up brave, unique, and intellectual children!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to use music and movement to both help children learn to be creative and expressive and as a tool to learn new things! I often write fun, sometimes silly little songs to help the children I work with remember the steps to making their bed, or tying their shoes, maybe even how to make a new friend at school! In the same way, I love to teach dance if the children are interested! I grew up choreographing dances and playing dress up with my little sister so these are activities I love to share with children I nanny. While working at the Children's Hospital as a Music Therapist, we often taught kids to play the Ukulele! Besides being an incredibly calming and joyful instrument, it is very straightforward and easy to learn quickly for children of all ages (you can play a whole song with just two chords and feel accomplished!) I love teaching this instrument to kids as a fun past-time, but also as a healthy coping skill for dealing with an negative emotions or stress! Additionally, I love to share my personal love of reading with kids of all ages, whether it is through reading bedtime stories to an infant or toddler or having a fun discussion with a school-aged child about a book they were assigned in school, I feel reading can be such a special shared and bonding activity that is both educational and fun!
