About me
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I have a total of 8 siblings, 4 of whom I grew up with. We were wild! My grandma had her hands full with our naturally silly, creative, and rambunctious nature. To this day, I'm still a silly person! I love to have fun and I enjoy a good laugh. As a child, I enjoyed arts and crafts and would build random things out of everything. Later on in my life, I received my B.A. in Social Work and Master's in Education. Post graduation, I was a high school special education teacher.
I value creative freedom and believe it is a wonderful thing to nurture in a child, whether that be through painting/drawing, music, or writing. I love the idea of playing a role in what the future will bring, whether that be teaching or providing child care. I have so much to share and I live to watch the light bulbs go on above their heads when they've discovered something. Since I was 16, I have never taken a position that was unrelated to children. There's a connection that I have to child care that's unexplainable and I will remain in this field for the rest of my life.
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children. To me, art is therapeutic and allows one to express their creative freedom. I also want to provide academic support in a way that allows children to fully understand the task they are given. Lastly, when given the opportunity, it's important to teach manners and empathy. I can confidently say that lacking empathy and showing an indifference towards the well-being of others have led to many atrocities that took place throughout our history. Learning kindness and respect early on allows people to develop social and emotional intelligence throughout the course of their lives. This is important, especially for individuals who seek leadership positions in their careers.
