About me

I grew up in Dallas, Texas! I was the only child in my family for the first 10 years of my life, then my baby brother was born. I was a built in babysitter for the family! Growing up, I fell in love with singing and dancing. I took dance lessons since I was a little girl, and my mom was a musician. I went on to study musical theatre at Ball State University and received my Bachelor of Fine arts this past May!

Since graduation, I have been performing in several musicals, including an interactive Theatre for Young Audience show. In this, children ages 1-9 were invited to call out to the actors to help them solve the mystery. This experience was wonderful, as our primary goal was to make the children and their families comfortable enough to engage with us as performers! I love helping children come out of their shells though art and creativity.

As the only child, and then big sister- I had a lot of responsibilities. I would cook, clean, and run errands for the family. I began babysitting all through High School. I often taught at theatre classes and camps, working with young children ages 5-9. In college, I began watching the children of some of my college professors regularly! My primary family had 2 children- ages 2 and 5 when we began. I would do household chores and errands with this family as well. I also worked with another family during this time with one young boy, age 8. I would pick him up after school and stay with him until mom got home. We would cook meals, and do the bedtime routine.

In my summers, I have both performed and taught. I performed professionally in Colorado, Texas, and Indiana in fun musical comedies! I also taught at the Texas Musical Theatre Workshop for kids interested in Musical Theatre. This was a great opportunity to combine my passions of childcare and theatre. I tutored these kids in music, dance, and piano. My responsibilities also included taking the children to and from classes all over Austin, Texas, and ensuring their health and safety 24/7.

My liberal arts education in theatre lends itself incredibly well to childcare, connecting with children, and self starting energy!

In 5 years, I hope to be living in New York City as a working actress. Preferably in a fabulous apartment!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I am a huge history nerd! I would love to take the kids to some museums. I play basic piano, which I would be happy to help a child with. I hope to help the children become creative by giving them outlets to play, draw, and create.
