About me

I have been working with children since I was practically a young child myself, starting off as a mother's helper because of my love of being around kids and interacting with them. I started Mother’s helping with infants at age 10, and from there my experience grew! I have been a day time sitter, part time nanny, date night sitter, babysitter as needed, and an infant caretaker. I am also a licensed social worker, (LMSW) and I have been a camp counselor as well. I have done everything from prepping meals for kids of all ages, including dealing with breast milk, and other preparation for baby specific nutritional needs. I have changed diapers and have also dealt with children who are not yet potty trained at age five years old. I have done bedtime prep and taken kids out to parks for activities and have also gone swimming without kids both as an activity to watch them and then as a mother’s helper for an additional child. I am CPR and AED certified for infants, children and adults and continue my renewal every two years.
   
I went to NYU for my undergraduate and graduate education, most recently graduating with my Masters in Social Work. I am interested in helping children who struggle with a variety of mental health issues and have a large interest in infants and parent child attachment systems.
My current full time job position is as a school social worker. I enjoy babysitting and nannying outside of these regular scheduled hours.

I am a creative person and studied at Tisch School Of The Arts for my undergrad. This all comes into play in my watching kids! Singing, acting, dancing, arts and crafts - you name it! I love doing all types of active and engaging activities with children, giving them exposure to things other than devices such as our TV and phones. I believe that bringing it creative energy into this work is vital as it keeps children of all ages engaged and happy! I love working with kids because they live in the moment and remind me to do the same!
