About me

My name is Cameron and I am recent graduate from the Musical Theatre program at Pace University here in NYC! I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from there. I am originally from Dallas, Texas where I grew up with my father, mother, and brother for many years.

I have a younger brother which immediately gave my babysitting experience from the very start, being "in charge" whenever I was old enough simply because I had two years on him. I like to think I did a pretty good job with not letting him get into too much trouble when we were younger even though we both probably did a few times here and there.

I am an actor here in NYC, and have been pursuing that since graduation. I do have an agent representing me and they send me out on auditions and luckily I have booked a few things since I graduated this past May. A lot of it has been new developmental work, which is so fun because it is original and you never know if it is going to be picked up and become something more like off-Broadway or Broadway.

I believe my acting passion has a strong connection with my dedication to babysitting. Naturally I am a people-person and even more so, I am a kid-person. My personality is very upbeat and I love to entertain. I also am a passionate musician, I play many instruments including guitar, bass, drums, and piano. I have been playing guitar for over 10 years. Most of the kids I have babysat over the years have absolutely loved the guitar playing and sometimes the singing depending on the mood. I am also very open to teaching guitar or other instruments! It is something I love to do and find it very fulfilling to teach a child something they are genuinely interested in, and even more so when it's something I also enjoy!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

A working actor, whether that means Broadway, off-Broadway, tours, etc...I would like to be part of the Actor's Equity Association for sure by that time.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Music, instrumentation, reading, they are all fun! I am also a very outdoor person: a park, a nice walk, you name it! I completely understand no-screen households however I am also fond of appropriate video games and television shows/movies if that's something they are interested in and the parents allow.
