About me

I grew up in Whitestone Queens, New York. I love New York. I have two older siblings and a twin sister. While growing up, I enjoyed dancing, singing and performing. I went to Frank Sinatra School of the Arts for high school. I was part of the vocal and musical theater department. Frank Sinatra School encouraged the growth of my artistic side. I attended Binghamton Univserity, where I majored in Psychology. I later attended Queens College where I majored in Psychology and minored in Theater-Dance. I received my Bachelors in 2011 and then went on to receive my advanced Masters of Science in Education and School Psychology certification in 2014.

I have over ten years of experience nannying for many children (aged newborn to 10-years-old). I have taken pride in every child care position I experience. I enjoy fun, arts-involved, enriching activities. I also love engaging in adventure and the outdoors. I am open to taking on any other responsibility including, a role in homework, housework, laundry, errands, driving, ect.

As for my other experience, I am (since July 2014) a full time School Psychologist in an elementary (grades K-5) public school during the day. My responsibilities during this time of year include guiding an entire school building in dealing with disabilities and/or social-emotional challenges that children may face. I have experience with numerous childhood disabilities, disorders and mental health concerns. This includes, but is not limited to anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Speech/Language Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Mood/Behavior Disorders, etc. In addition, I work as a part-time dance teacher for students aged 3-years-old to 16-years-old.

I believe I am the perfect candidate for many needs! My philosophies regarding child care involve understanding that my role is as important as that of a parent when a child is under my care. Children are impressionable and should be around caretakers who are good examples of behavior, manners and personality. I have always had an enjoyable experience working with my families. I am confident that your child(ren) will have an equally enjoyable experience!
