About me

Hello! My name is Kerrie McCartney. I grew up in Washington state in a small town on the East side of the state. I grew up with one older sister and a lot of cousins. I spent a lot of time growing up in the pool and playing with friends in the neighborhood. I also took 12 years of tap dance lessons which was a very strong passion for me. I attended college at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington. There I studied early education. After that I moved to NYC and began working with children as a nanny. I continued my early childhood development education through online classes at American Public University.

I have been a nanny in and outside of NYC for the past 14 years. I have a lot of experience with newborns and infants and love this stage of childhood development. I have also worked with the full range of ages and enjoy that each year has its own special and exciting moments in the child's growth. In addition to nanny positions, I have also spent time teaching in a preschool setting and tutoring. I love being a nanny and getting to be a part of a family and child's life. It is truly rewarding to watch a child grow and develop. I am looking forward to finding a new family to work with!
