About me

Hi! I’m an extremely outgoing and goofy gal originally from the Bay Area, California, but have thoroughly enjoyed the past five years of living in New York City. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Musical Theater, and am pursuing a career in theater, television in film. I have an older sister who recently got married, and two totally awesome parents, one who worked as a high school teacher and administrator.

I have always adored children, starting as a mother’s helper around my neighborhood starting when I was in fourth and fifth grade. I began babysitting more frequently in seventh grade, tackling date nights and weekend day jobs when parents needed to run errands. In addition to babysitting, I have spent multiple summers as a camp counselor through the church I grew up in. Another young woman and I would be in charge of about ten elementary school girls, leading small group discussions and accompanying them to field trips to the beach of amusement parks. In college, I continued babysitting and helping out on Sunday’s at my church’s kids groups. I loved performing in the skits and dressing up in the most silly over the top costumes. Once I moved to New York City, I was connected to a wonderful family with a three year old son and a baby on the way! After they moved, I started working for a family with a 1 year old son who loves music, especially from Disney movies. After two years, they welcomed a baby brother! After potty training the three year old, I started caring for the infant boy. After a few months, I assisted the mother in sleep training him. For the past year and a half I have been with a family with older children, assisting with homework, bringing them to and from activities, cleaning up around the house, and folding laundry.

When I’m not nannying, I’m definitely singing somewhere probably too loud, or have my face stuffed into a book, or am trying to master crow pose. I am also a neat freak, and actually find solace in washing dishes and folding laundry. I want to help you help your children! I firmly believe each generation is stronger and smarter than the next, and want to help you raise your children to be the best kids they can be.
