About me

I am a mother of four adult children - one son and three daughters (all college educated). In addition to caring for my own children I have cared for the children of others. Some were of friends, family and some were of clients. As a professional I have experience caring for twins, multiple children at once, and one child at a time. My experience ranges from caring for newborns through pre-teen (tweens). I have been hired as a regularly scheduled weekly sitter, as a date-night sitter, in addition to being on call and an emergency contact. I firmly believe in making sure children are physically active and engaged. We would do everything from playing board games, cooking, arts and crafts activities, going to the playground and running around, playing soccer, hide and seek, foosball, and dancing like no one is watching. Museums and libraries are also on the itinerary. I do not believe in letting children watch too much tv, but I make exceptions when it comes to educational shows. I also believe that schedules are very good for children because it brings order to their life. I would love to have the opportunity to discuss this in detail.
