About me

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky with 2 brothers and a sister. I have always loved theatre and performing. I graduated from Western Kentucky University Cum Laude with a double major in Theatre and Diversity and Community Studies. I love children, teaching and all things New York City. I believe this is an amazing place for kids to experience a variety of things.

I have been babysitting for families since I was about 14 years old. My first job was for an 8 year old girl from 8:30am until 4pm. I had to distribute medication, make breakfast and lunch and also play with her for the day. I kept the days filled with summer actives such as playing outside, swimming and play dates. I went on to become a camp counselor for high school students, where I received CPR certification, while still babysitting in that same summer. In the summer of 2017, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for First Stage Theatre in Milwaukee, WI. I not only worked with children with developmental disabilities such as autism, downs syndrome , but I also took professional development classes that specialized in teaching these students. I also had the opportunity to work with low level juvenile delinquents, aged from 12-17. I was their theatre teacher and mentor, which is a great honor of mine. My most recent work has been babysitting infants. That work includes changing diapers, making bottles and feeding them and also playing with the child while they are awake.

I believe in positive reinforcement, personal connection and emotional freedom as a child care provider. It is my hope to assure anyone I'm working for that I have their child's best interest at heart.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love using music to connect, cooking together, dancing and any other type of activity that can be done together. I also value emotional vulnerability and pride myself on being an ally for any child that I care for. I also love to adjust to the things that they like to do!
