About me

I grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with my mother and older sister, where I grew up loving painting, singing, reading, and playing with my dogs. I then went on to attend New York University for a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in the arts, where my focuses were in women's studies, cultural diversity, and childhood development.

I have worked with children since the age of 13, babysitting here and there and then taking on a more scheduled job watching a 10 year old when I was 17. I picked him up from school, took him to get snacks and do homework, and drove him home five days a week. We had to end our time together when I went on to college, however I still check in with him often!

When I moved on to college I started taking on more steady work as a nanny, first as a more special occasion based sitter for a couple in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, and then as a more serious full time nanny. I was a five days a week nanny for a family of five in Tribeca for six months, where I was responsible for a 7 year old boy and his 4 year old twin siblings. Most recently, and for the past two years, I have taken care of a now 8 year old girl in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, picking her up from school and watching her until the evening for half of the week. I have been with their family for almost two years now!

I absolutely adore spending time with children. I take it with great honor that I am trusted to help a child grow and thrive in whatever way suits them best. I am always ready for whatever a child likes to do, and understand what a great and special responsibility it is to be with a child while they experience the world!
