About me

I live my life to discover and make incredible memories, relationships, and goals. I'm a Philadelphia girl who grew up surrounded by family and friends and found herself on many stages performing for those people then and now. So that's my full time passion: performing and telling stories about humanity. With that said, I recognize the importance of joy in a family environment because I was given so much of it and carry it with me as I grow and meet new people, especially the 15 families that I've taken care of over the years beginning at age 12 when I took my first babysitting class until today.

I believe that my unique quality as a carer for children is that very sense of joy. I'm playful and silly and relate to a child's bewilderment of the world around them and the many things to explore and imagine at museums, theaters, and parks (to name a few). In acting school, we were always taught to go back to that time when our imagination was at it's boldest and most active.. I love being around children because I'm reminded of this boldness and the joy that new experiences and being cared for by good people can bring.

So, Philly girl (high school) turned Chicago girl (BFA in Theater), turned Cardiff and London girl (Masters in Acting), turned New York woman. The common denominator of these cities is my education: I believe its crucial to seek knowledge wherever you go: Now that I'm a Master's degree holder, I want to give back and provide the knowledge I've gained to children and continue to learn about the world around me with them! I love to sing songs, read, create arts and crafts, and explore any city I'm in with my kiddies!
