About me

I started sitting at a ripe age of fourteen years old. Over ten years later, spending time with children and their families still brings me immense joy. I have worked with children in all stages of development from infancy through young adulthood, from changing diapers and developing a sleep pattern, to learning about responsibility and ownership. I’ve worked with children with certain allergies/dietary restrictions and have extensive experience with multiples.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, I have always had a love for music and the arts. I received my BFA in Theatre and love to read, write and dance in my own time. I also love to travel! Although I wasn’t necessarily a sitter, I spent two summers doing non-profit work in a children’s village in Jacmel, Haiti.
Although I received my BFA in the arts, I have also developed a large management background for brands like Starbucks, Apple and Equinox. The routes I’ve been able to take in my professional career all come from my natural leadership ability and from my genuine love for people. I am a huge believer in community - connecting, learning and growing through our relationship with others.

When working with a family, my goal is to mold with the family’s mission and vision for their household. I create a secure, loving and fun environment, and always want to be a part of the team. When thinking with a team mindset, I believe it helps us all to know that we have a role in getting to the goal. No one is left on the bench, and we all work together! I believe that my servant’s heart and joyful spirit make me a great part of that kind of family team.
