About me

I was lucky enough to grow up in the most amazing community theatre company in Phoenix, Arizona. Every audition I attended, I would marvel at the talent and sophistication the older kids' had. I wanted to be just like them! After a few shows and lead roles were under my belt, I began to choreograph the children's shows, teaching and encouraging kids ages 4-17 while they did what they love. I had become one of the role models I looked up to years before, and that was a great feeling, as well as great responsibility! I wouldn't be where I am today without my role models growing up. I found I had a passion for caring for younger people, sharing my gifts with them, and witnessing their growth. Babysitting the kids in my neighborhood was my first job, and it taught me leadership skills at a very young age, and I am forever grateful for that.

I am an energetic, positive, blissful, and hard-working individual. I have a go-getter personality, and I am up for any challenge that is thrown my way. I have my BFA in Musical Theatre, and I recently came back from traveling the world singing and dancing on a cruise ship. I also have my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. I believe the key to a happy life is through your body. Health and fitness have always been a huge part of my life, and not many things bring me more pure joy than cooking with fresh, vibrant, and colorful produce. I love to share my meals and cooking with others, connecting through nourishment and thankfulness.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

In 5 years I hope to be comfortably living in New York City, and honestly, my dream is to be performing on Broadway! I would like to be a yoga teacher at a renowned studio in the city. I also hope to have done more traveling in 5 years, especially in Asia. Oh, and I would like to have a puppy of my own!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I would love to share my knowledge of cooking with children! Being able to make your own meals is incredibly gratifying, and it's a skill I believe everyone should have. By cooking your own meals, you can save money and live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Yoga and dance are two other activities I would love to teach children. Learning basic meditation and how to be mindful at a young age would certainly benefit a child, making stressful situations, anxiety, and setbacks easier to handle.
