About me

Hi! My name is Samantha and I am looking for a full time Nanny position! I am 23 years old and graduated from Circle In the Square Theatre School. I have been a Nanny for a wonderful family on the UES (now ages 4 and 9) the past 3 years. Unfortunately, they are moving to Westchester this summer. Some of my responsibilities included potty training, changing diapers, school pick up, taking them on train/bus to extra curricular activities, help with homework, meal preparation, supervising playtime, handling basic household duties, help with bed time routine and I even learned basic Greek words and phrases because their family primarily spoke Greek at home!

In total, I have 7 years of experience nannying/babysitting for a number of families. My last job before my current position, was the summer of 2019, nannying for a sweet 2 year old baby girl, whom I have been sitting for sporadically since she was 3 months old. I am also a part time teaching artist for a company called Inside Broadway. In this position, I go in to different NYC public schools and teach Musical Theatre and Hip Hop.

As an actor, I am in a creative field where we are constantly in touch with our imaginations, which I feel makes me an ideal candidate for a caretaker position. Nannying is such an incredibly fun yet rewarding job, and I truly love spending my time with kids! When I’m not working, I am auditioning for acting gigs or spending time with my three rescues animals. I have two shih tzu’s and a cat whom I absolutely adore. I am fully vaccinated/boosted and consider myself COVID cautious. Thank you for your consideration!
