About me


I am Franco-American, born to a French mother and an American father and have been bilingual all my life. I graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and I am planning on continuing my studies in grad school in the near future. 
I practice yoga, read, sing and play the piano. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 years old and have stayed with each of the families as a regular babysitter for years. I have experience caring for newborns up until 12 years old. I also worked at a Montessori preschool summer camp for three consecutive years on Long Island and interned as a teacher's assistant in a first grade classroom at an elementary school in California.

When it comes to caring for children, I'm energetic, kind, nurturing and have a knack for calming children down (when I worked at the preschool they always wanted me to stay close by during morning drop-offs just in case!). I enjoy working with children because of their energy, imagination and the happiness that lights up their faces every day. The babysitting job I'm looking for is one where I can contribute to the family's overall well-being, build a trust-based relationship and allow creativity and flexibility to be a daily part of the job.
