About me

I'm a former elementary teacher, American Red Cross certified Waterfront Lifeguard, tutor, and yoga teacher. I started babysitting 13 years ago as a mother's helper at the age of 12, and hit the ground running from there.

My little sister is eight years younger than me, so I've always been surrounded by much younger kids, which gave me the confidence to start working with other families at such a young age. The families that I've grown with mean so much to me, and the connections that I have with their kids are really strong.

My key to structure with kiddos is letting them know who's in charge and being very clear about what we need to do, while balancing it out with some silliness and making it fun. I believe that every task or chore can be made a funny and enjoyable activity for kids, and I love getting them motivated in that way. I have domestic and international travel nannying experience, have driven children around NYC, NJ and Long Island, as well as longer distance trips, and specialize in tutoring, personal assistance, and creating structured after-school plans. I love dogs and am a registered Wag! walker, and some of my favorite things to do with kids are outdoor activities and arts & crafts. I can't wait to meet you and your family!
