About me

I have always loved different spaces can build community and, how when we have a community, we all feel safe to grow and adventure! I grew up doing professional theatre in Philadelphia. It was a great privilege to learn about the history of the world through the active play of theatre. This started me on the journey of becoming a forward-thinking educator who believes we have different types of learning styles and knowing this can unlock a world of knowledge for people.

I started to tutor other students in middle school in math and continued to in high school. I found a passion for helping others and this extended to childcare in high school when my neighbors had their firstborn. Being around babies was exciting because they are learning everything for the first time (and what a special thing to witness and support!) I babysat their first kid from ages 6 months to 4 years before leaving for college!

I moved to Boston where I was able to expand my scientific understanding of how people learn and grow through my BA in Theatre Education degree. For the past 3 years, I've been a professional school teacher for both theatre and science. It has been great teaching 3rd graders about natural disasters and helping 6th graders explore their creativity through playwriting. As I enter my next phase, I am exploring my career path and artistic interests.
