About me

Ever since I was a little girl, taking care of my collection of baby dolls was serious business. I had an entire section of my bedroom dedicated as a "nursery", and I would spend countless hours caring for the dolls. Living in NYC as an actress, I knew that I needed to find a job that would bring me joy, and I immediately thought of child care. I have been a nanny here in New York for two and a half years now, and I have absolutely loved it. After a difficult day of auditioning, it is so refreshing to get to spend time with children. It always brings me back to what life is really about, and I always feel better after having a good conversation with a child about their day or their thoughts on something. Life can be so simple and I love being reminded of that everyday through children. I am a very upbeat, positive, and fun person. I strongly believe in speaking to children like you are at the same level as them, and not making them feel belittled or looked down on. I love to take the time to really get to know a child, so we can have meaningful conversations that will stick with them. As a theatre artist, one of my main passions is to inspire people. I have found that I can do that with childcare as well.
