About me

I began my babysitting journey in my small Oklahoma town at 9 years old. Throughout my early teens I was the go-to babysitter for all young people in my neighborhood, and the nearby Air Force Base. My enthusiasm, and professionalism led me to become a childcare provider in local community centers, and the regional theatre where I grew up performing. During high school, I grew my passion for childcare to run youth programming with my dance center and local theatre. I began an after school musical theatre program for elementary schoolers, and a creative arts summer camp.

I came to New York City nine years ago to study theatre and arts education at NYU. While studying, I performed with theatre for young audience programs, and a traveling Shakespeare troupe. I translated my skills as a performer, and my experiences with young people, into theatre-in-schools roles as the drama associate for a local elementary school.

Upon graduating from NYU, I have worked as a teaching artist bringing drama to young people ages 3 to 14. I have had the honor of building youth improv troupes, and devised plays in school programs, and arts specific after school programs. When not sharing theatre with young people, I can be found performing off-Broadway or with my own theatre collective.

I love to bring my own imaginative joy to young people!
