About me

I have been caring for children in a multitude of capacities for the past 15 years. From being a camp counselor, to nannying on a cruise to watching children on date nights, I have experience with children aged zero to 13. I spent two years as a camp counselor at a community day camp, being one of 10 counselors in charge of 100 plus children everyday. I have been lucky enough to babysit for a few families over the past few years that I've been in New York City. I have enjoyed watching their children grow from newborns to toddlers and eventually onto school-age.

Outside of childcare, I have spent my time in New York working as a television producer. Recently, I left my career to pursue a personal business of photography and videography. In my spare time, I love seeing broadway shows, playing guitar and reading. I believe that my college degree and love of culture lends itself well to babysitting, as I love to impart my knowledge and skill sets onto children. I enjoy being able to help them with their homework and extra-curricular activities. Seeing that light go off inside their heads as they learn something new is truly beautiful.

Working with children is a passion of mine. Their bright spirits and positive attitudes make them so much fun to be around. I strongly believe that children should be free to express their imaginations and I love seeing their uninhibited personalities. I love watching them grow and learn and I look forward to all the wonderful families I will have the opportunity to meet through SmartSitting!
