About me
I grew up in Massachusetts in a rather hectic household. As the oldest kid, I always found myself in a very natural caregiving role. I always wanted to somehow transition that role into professional work. I got my first childcare job in 2012 at a local recreation camp, and knew once I started there that iyt was something I took to with ease and passion. Through high school I continued to work as a camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim teacher. I've worked for the past four years with families affected by pediatric cancer, and other terminal illness, facilitating support groups under a psychosocial director, and have gained a lot of experience in group therapy. I've always been a theater kid, and just graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from Pace University. I worked as an RA at Pace as well, and this past year I worked as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism, helping to develop their motor and verbal skills for kids ages 3-5, as well as social and advanced communication skills with kids as old as 15-17.
