About me

I believe adults teach children about the world, but children teach adults about life. Ever since realizing this simple fact, I have tried to surround myself with the inspiring creativity of children as much as possible. I try to see the world through their fresh set of eyes, while simultaneously showing them everything I have to offer from my own life experiences. This teamwork creates a bond that I believe is the core of successful child care.

I started my child care work as an assistant to a daycare owner for young infants and toddlers. I then worked as an intern at Paper Mill Playhouse with the Junior Plus Company. During this internship, I organized and worked with about sixty children between the ages of 10 and 14. I then assisted a teacher in the theatre school at Paper Mill before being assigned my own classes. Over the years I have taught numerous theatrical classes at Paper Mill, inspiring preschool through high school aged students in the classroom. Additionally, I served as a child wrangler for two boys in a production of "Nine" at Wagner College and worked with children every day as a character performer at Walt Disney World. When I first moved to Manhattan, I assisted a nanny with two boys, ages 3 and 6, on weekdays. Most recently, I completed a contract with Disney Cruise Line as a Character Dancer, interacting with families and kids of all ages. As a person, I am energetic, creative, bubbly, and have a magnetic personality. I am a natural leader and like to make people happy in any ways I can.
