About me

Growing up in the suburbs of Fairfax, Virginia, I have been babysitting since I was 12. As an adolescent, I was very active in the regional theatre community and was in many choral groups, performing locally and at school.

I moved to New York in 2006 to study music and art at NYU. While there and since graduating I have been privileged to work with many great families in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I have extensive experience with children over 3-years-old, but I also have worked as a mother's helper with infants and toddlers.

I am very active in the art world and have previously worked professionally for several contemporary art galleries and auction houses during the past 8 years. I enjoy going to museums and using one's imagination to be creative and artistic and have extensive art history knowledge. I love coloring and creating art projects with kids. I also like to try new food and meals, and cook daily. I am very organized and clean, and like to create functional spaces that bring joy.

My friends would describe me as loyal, loving, dependable, confident and hilarious. I am enthusiastic and very positive, and I deeply love making children laugh.
