About me
My name is Lindsay. I grew up in Philadelphia, and moved to New York four years ago to attend college. I am currently a senior at Columbia University studying linguistics. I love learning new languages, and currently speak Spanish, Russian, French, Farsi and some Mandarin and Arabic. I love to learn about new cultures and travel whenever possible. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and/or finding creative ways to practice the languages I am learning!
Some of my favorite memories from babysitting in the past include, doing sing alongs to songs from the movie Frozen, practicing different languages with children, and taking amazing walks around Brooklyn with an adorable baby, just to name a few! I am eager to find a great SmartSitting family and developing a bond with their children.

I would like to work in some sort of capacity that fosters international intercultural exchange. Perhaps as a diplomat, perhaps working with exchange programs, perhaps as a translator. I also hope kids are somehow still a part of my life!
