About me

My name is Joan! I was born and raised in Guyana (South America) but have lived in New York City for many years. I have two adult children of my own and currently live in Queens with my amazing husband. As a member of a big family with 9 children, I learned to be responsible for the care of my younger siblings from a young age.

Throughout my journey as a childcare provider, I have worked long term as a full-time nanny for two incredible New York City families. In total, I've dedicated 30 years to helping raise 3 amazing children from infant to high school age. These families are part of my own family and can provide impeccable references.

I am extremely dependable, energetic, engaging, trustworthy and caring. Taking care of children is not just my profession, it is my live's work and passion! I am genuinely and naturally drawn to raising children and seeing them grow into responsible young adults.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and making memories with my family. Additionally, I love to travel especially to beach destinations.
