About me

My name is Marisa and I've been a professional childcare provider for over 10 years. My experience includes working privately for multiple families throughout NYC and 2-3 years working with another babysitting agency. I'm comfortable and experienced with children of all ages, including infants, and hold a current CPR certification. Beyond the typical childcare responsibilities, I also have experience with overnights, traveling with families and traveling alone with the children. I'm a wonderful resource for any last minute events, appointments or date nights and can be your back-up nanny as needed.

Working with children has been rewarding and joy filled experience. My experiences include working with amazing children of all ages! I am confident and comfortable caring for any age group including infants. Additionally, I have experience working with super energetic and fun twin toddlers and engaging fast paced teenagers. I actively find creative and engaging ways to relate to each individual child. Establishing a relationship based on common ground and trust is essential to childcare. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing a child is comfortable and happy in your care. It melts my heart to see a child happy and thriving!

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre and have been successfully and passionately pursuing a career in musical theater for the past 10 years. If you choose to hire me, you are directly contributing to my artistic pursuits and I am so grateful for that! I have an engaging and charismatic personality which children tend to respond well to. I love to actively engage children through age appropriate activities ranging from an art project with your toddler to singing soothing songs to your infant.
