About me

I discovered my innate ability to make people laugh at a very young age! From family friends to neighbors, I babysat young children throughout high school and college. When it came time to pick a major and minor, I followed my passions by majoring in musical theatre with a minor in Early Childhood Development. Additionally, I obtained my certification to be a substitute teacher in elementary schools. In addition to substituting, I have also spent multiple summers as a summer camp counselor and instructor for a children's theatre in their summer program. All of these experiences have allowed me to work with children between the ages of 4 and 12.

Getting to work in these group settings was rewarding and allowed me to develop relationships with so many amazing children. I had the privilege of working with children from all different sorts of backgrounds and family structures. But I miss the amazing dynamic of working with individual children and really making a huge impact on their day. This need has brought me back to in-home childcare! I am thrilled to once again assist children in their everyday growth and development. I am a strong believer in the impact exposure to the arts can have in shaping a child! In addition to bringing music and dance to families, I also believe in supplying children with a warm environment for creative play and imagination to soar. I am more interested in keeping children engaged and active rather than starring into screens! When your child is in my care, I can ensure a great day filled with creativity, safety and fun.
