About me
Working with children has proven to be a truly rewarding experience for me. From a young age, I have always been able to connect with children, and now pursuing a career in childcare is proving to be an exciting and fulfilling endeavor. I have worked with many families and children of all ages. I am dedicated to delivering quality childcare by creating a loving and healthy learning environment. I encourage adventures and exploration, but I also believe a degree of discipline and structure is a vital part of growth and development. I value communication, not only with parents, but also with children. I like to teach them active listening and to have an awareness of their emotions and behaviors. Empathy is the foundation of all my work. My background in nursing has also made me an excellent multi-talker—highly organized and focused on child safety and wellness at all times. I am well-trained in creating schedules and maintaining healthy routines for children of any age. I am also creative at designing educational activities to keep children engaged without the use of electronics.
I believe children are a true source of light to the world and I am passionate about helping each child shine their brightest. Helping children learn about themselves and the world around them, while providing them with a nurturing atmosphere of love and compassion, is what makes me feel successful.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to sing and dance, and I try to impart an appreciation for music onto children. Music is a beautiful form of art and wonderful at any age. It makes things like picking up toys or waiting in line a fun activity! Like music, I also enjoy nature. I like to go on walks in the park and explore the living things all around us. An affinity for nature's flora and fauna fosters a sense of connection to things outside of ourselves and an inclination to want to do good in the world around us.
