About me

I grew up on Long Island and went to college in New York City where I studied Musical Theatre Performance. While in college, I supported myself by nannying and babysitting after and between classes. In high school, my weekends were filled with time with friends, school work, and babysitting. I have always loved having children around. I enjoy watching them grow and learn and discover the world. I have always thought it helped to have someone creative, fun, encouraging, and active around children to encourage them that it is okay to be themselves and to not be afraid to try and fail at new and different things. I love to incorporate music and playing into as many situations as I can, recently encouraging my young cousin to learn the ukulele and get more involved in the arts. I have experience with children from newborns to 13 year olds. At all ages, they have kept me on my toes. I hope to enrich children's lives through my experience, and to ensure that their time with me has the perfect balance of responsibility and fun!
