About me

When working with children, I try to create a comfortable and positive environment that encourages creativity and expressing emotions. I find the ability to empathize and have patience are very helpful when working with children. I see everything as a learning experience whether we are counting cars on our way to the super market, or just making sure we know the name of the painting we are looking at the Met. I like to laugh and have fun within limits and safety precautions, of course.

I have spent the past two years as a professional nanny in NYC. One year with a family in Downtown Brooklyn caring for an 18-month-old boy, a 5-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. The previous year for a family on the UWS, caring for a 2-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy. Prior, I worked as an Au Pair in Versailles, France for a family with three boys ages 3,6, and 9. I am French speaking and love to travel. I would like to continue my education in Political Science. I would like to work for a family that is kind, and smart, who raises their children how I would someday like to raise mine. I feel I am a caring person who enjoys and finds working with children rewarding.
