About me
My name is Kaitlin!
I am a college graduate from Syracuse University! I'm a Jersey girl who grew up loving the beach and thin crust pizza! I'm a lover of the arts, especially the performing arts, because I am an actress myself! I am an avid animal lover and enjoy being outside, whether it's going on a walk or sitting in the park, I love to stay busy and active. I love to sing and create! I can be found producing a cabaret or playing broadway lotteries as frequently as I can.
I have been a babysitter as long as I can remember! First for my brother, who is 7 years younger than me. The large age gap ensured for my parents, having a live in babysitter at all times. For as long as I can remember, I have been a secondary care giver to my younger brother and it instilled in me a love and respect for babysitting. Throughout the years I have worked many jobs to support my hobbies and interests. I was taught that if I wanted to pursue costly passions (voice lessons, theatre masterclasses, etc) it was up to me to pay for them. And so I did that by waitressing, working at a front desk and being an occasional babysitter. I am grateful for this lesson because I know how to value a dollar and this is when I learned to be a hardworker. It feels good to earn something for yourself!
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)
- Preteen
- Multiples
In 5 years, I hope to be...
Well in 5 years I hope to be first and foremost doing something that brings me joy. I'm still young enough that my trajectory in life is bound to change, but I hope in 5 years I will be in touch with myself enough to continually pursue what brings me joy!
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Since I am in the arts, I love to sing songs and play improv games with children! It sparks creativity and gets kids off their phones or away from the TV!
