About me

I am a freelance museum educator and teaching artist. I am passionate about inspiring creativity and learning experiences. I have 10+ years of babysitting experience and 5 years experience as an art educator in museums. I have worked with children infant-aged through preteen. I am creative, active, and passionate about child development and education. As a museum educator and a babysitter, I create experiences for children to express themselves through exploration of books and artwork, art making, and movement. I love to facilitate story times, crafts, art lessons, dramatic play, creative movement, and museum visits.

I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor's degree in Art History and minor in Human Development and Family Studies. In college, I interned in the Penn State campus preschool for two semesters. I graduated from NYU with a Master's degree in Museum Studies, with a focus on museum education.

I grew up in State College, Pennsylvania. Because my parents are professors, we lived abroad for periods of time in Berlin and Paris.
