About me

I grew up in the land of "gooey butter cake" and toasted ravioli- aka St. Charles, Missouri. I moved to New York when I was 14 years old but still visited St. Charles Missouri regularly. I have one sister and was a very high energy, imaginative child. Six years ago, I received my bachelors degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I studied Theatre and Dance Education. Shortly after graduating, I took a leap of faith and accepted an Acting Apprenticeship in Sarasota FL. I learned a lot, was able to perform for thousands of people and made some lifelong friends. While in Florida, I was a part of a professional improv team and taught playwriting to students all over Florida. After that, I worked as a babysitter and at NY Kids Club as an enrichment teacher, special events leader and pre-school substitute teacher. For the past three years I have been working as a Site Director for a public middle school after school program that focuses on arts, music, sports, and other academic enrichment activities.

I have been an after-school nanny, date night sitter and tutor. As an after-school nanny, I would pick up the child from school, take her back home, make snacks, work on homework and use our imaginations to play. I am comfortable tutoring young students in various subjects to help them with their homework. As a Site Director, I have really honed my skills caring for over 200 students in my program. I take them on field trips, lead activities, and advise them through crisis and behavioral management.

I love working with kids because I think their hope in the world is inspiring. I love doing crafts, going on adventures and enjoy connecting with children through imaginative play and storytelling.​
