About me

Hi, my name is Mike! I am a personable and energetic theater professional living on the UES. I was born and raised here in NYC and my parents still work in Manhattan. After attending college in Boston, I lived in various cities around the country including San Diego, Dallas, LA, and Kansas City, before landing back here in NYC.

When not in the theater, I have worked in childcare for the past 6 years. I spent 5 years as a teacher at Kidville where I taught a range of enrichment classes in art, sports, science, etc. for children ages 6 months to 6 years old. I also spent a year teaching in Kidville's preschool alternative program, where I worked with a fantastic group of 3 years olds each morning. In our classroom, we focused on literacy, tactile exploration, creative play, and basic activity structure. All while having fun!

In addition, I've taught science, robotics, and engineering classes in after school programs around NYC through NORY STEM. I also founded an educational theatre group in Englewood, NJ designed to introduce musical theatre to elementary school children through annual family friendly productions.

Through Kidville, I have a wealth of experience with children ages 2 and 3. I have taught countless athletic and artistic enrichment courses to 4, 5, and 6 year olds and through NORY STEM I have worked with elementary school age children.
