About me

From watching over my four little cousins starting when I was 10, to working at softball and volleyball camps during the summer, to my most recent job babysitting children in the playroom at an athletic club, taking care of kids has become an integral and wonderful part of my life.

For the last seven years or so, I have worked with children of all different ages, personalities, and interests. In the last year alone, I babysat privately for six different families alongside my daytime job babysitting children at the Hampshire Athletic Club in their playroom. I have the most experience working with toddlers and young children, but I feel comfortable working with any age child, so whether they're drooling and in diapers or angsty and prepubescent I am here to help them!

I think my favorite part of childcare has always been the way that kids find magic in the smallest and simplest things. I think some of the best times that I've had babysitting were when the kids and I created our own game out of everyday things, like playing chef with grass and leaves, or building a castle out of pillows and blankets. I just love the way that children are always determined to have fun, no matter what they are given and where they are. It has genuinely changed the way that I think about the world.
