About me

I love working with children of all ages. I have been working with children for many years now, and have specifically worked with children from infancy to adolescence. I am passionate about helping children with their developmental growth through reading, activities and teaching them new ways to think and play creatively. I love that as a caretaker, I’m not only caring for the child but I am also becoming part of the family. I love building relationships and connecting with the children and the parents.

Throughout college I focused on Human Development and Family Studies. That background has enhanced my ability to care for children, as I now have the ability to provide developmental activities that promote the child’s developmental growth.

Some of my hobbies are traveling and learning about new cultures. One way I can do that locally is by enjoying the museums with the children and even reading about new cultures together. I partnered with local ministries, and had the privilege to visit many countries where I cared for children who were in need of love and safety. I was also able to teach those children English.

I am bilingual and love teaching children Spanish if the parents wish. I am very organized and punctual, and my ability to serve the family is something I am very passionate about. I pride myself in integrity and kindness so one of my goals is to be able to be a role model for the child. I hope I can serve you and become a new addition to your family!
