About me

Hello! I have been a caretaker for 12 years now, 4 of which have been in pre-schools in three different states (New York, Massachusetts, and Maine!) I have worked with many age groups, including newborns and infant, primarily with a Reggio Emilia approach. I am a big believer in play based learning environment and love watching children explore and discover the world around them. It is a great privilege to play even a small role in that exploration.

As an artist, both visual and theatrical, I find great joy in being a creative catalyst for children and introducing them to new materials. I graduated in May 2017 and have been working as the Studio Assistant at Dieu Donne paper studio, an artist studio that specializes in paper making while also babysitting/nannying. Paper making is a major passion of mine and I love to share my excitement for art and making. I also own my own business selling my art and making artwork for people's homes. During the pandemic I started my own business where I make and sell original artwork and love to share this passion with kids!

I am patient with children, enjoy organization, and believe that giving children the space they need to explore, create, and socialize is one of the greatest gifts of all. Children respond very well to my enthusiasm and creative nature. I am very interested in developing creative, fun, and educational activities because my main goal is to instill a sense of self-esteem and confidence in all children. I find the best way to learn about what they need is to see how they play and interact with their space.
