About me

I've been caring for kids for my entire life! I come from a big extended family and always had a dozen little cousins running around. I honestly can't remember a time when I didn't know how to change a diaper...

In middle school, I took a babysitting course that covered everything from first aid to creative games, so I could show the parents in my neighborhood I was the best babysitter they could find. Over the years, my childcare experience has ranged from day and nighttime babysitting gigs, to working as a summer camp counselor, and a year-long experience as a nanny for a family with 3 toddlers (and one teenager).

I was also part of a community service sorority in college, and a lot of our volunteer work involved working with children! The highlight of our semester was always Girl Scout Badge Day, a day when we'd organize a series of activities for local Girl Scout troops to help them earn several badges at once.

Outside of childcare, I'm a huge fan of theatre and amazing TV. You can find me in Midtown, checking out as many Broadway shows as I can afford, or in my living room binge watching a good series on Netflix or Hulu. I'm very musical and love a good afternoon dance party or sing-along to break up the day. I also love to read; not just myself, but to the kids I care for as well!
