About me

I have worked with children all my life, beginning with looking after my young cousins over summer vacations. As I grew, so did my passion for childcare. I have worked with many wonderful families over the years, and have continued to branch out within the field through after school programs, tutoring, and summer camps. I have had the privilege of working with some amazing children, from toddlers in diapers to young adults seeking mentorship. In addition, I have been to countries such as Ethiopia and India to teach orphans and young children theatre.

I grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado, and am a big advocate of getting outside and playing in the world around us. I have studied theatre all my life, and am therefore passionate about play. My creativity has always kept children off of the computer and interacting with the world around them. I adore games, make-believe, arts and crafts, and dress up. I encourage children to use their imagination and practice skills such as empathy, curiosity, and perception. I have had a variety of leadership roles, from directing plays with large casts to student council president. I am organized, thoughtful, and inventive -- even when juggling many balls at once!
