About me

I am the eldest of five children, so you can say nannying is the natural extension of my upbringing. I was also the oldest kid on the block, and as I grew up it became commonplace for parents to rely on me for childcare when they were in a pinch or had a date night coming up. Through this, my love for children grew. I love their innocence and openness to new experiences.

The best part of childcare, in my opinion, is providing them the safe and structured environment they need while providing them the room to express their creativity and grow into wonderful human beings. It is a beautiful thing to watch a child grow under your supervision while forging a bond with them. I also take pride in giving parents the peace of mind that their child is well taken care of while they are not in their presence. The best thing a mom I nannied for ever told me was that she never had to worry about her kids while she was gone, she knew that they would not only be safe with me, but happy.

While I have consistently held the traditional nanny role, I have a broad range of other childcare experiences. I have worked as a tutor, an Irish step dancing instructor, a peer mentor to underprivileged students, and an English instructor to school children in Guatemala. I have extensive experience with children of all ages and abilities. I would be delighted to work for your family!
