About me

I am currently a 4th grade teacher, and I absolutely adore working with children. I graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Educational Theatre in 2016. I am a person who LOVES integrating theatre into daily activities. Whether I am teaching literature, science, math, and social studies, or if I am spending a whole day with your child, you will catch me using theatre in all of these scenarios. I see the importance of play, and how kids of all ages (even us adults!) can benefit educationally and emotionally from these types of activities. This is how I connect with people. By using this strategy of working with people, I try to create a space where children feel brave enough to use their imagination. This, in turn, gives me a better insight to how this person works and feels.

I have worked with 2-year-olds through 19-year-olds. I have worked with children in many different capacities; as an Education Intern with TADA! Youth Theater and Achievement First, Camp Director for Broadway Workshop, Student Teacher at The Earth School and Talent Unlimited, Director with Breaking Walls, babysitter for multiple families, Substitute Teacher for the North Bergen Board of Education, 3rd Grade Lead Teacher, and now I will be teaching brilliant 4th graders! I look forward to continuing my career in education!
